Saeed Majid Salim Obaid Almheiri founded SideWheelPro to take the UAE's side-wheel discipline out of the car park and onto a licensed circuit. He leads every programme personally.
A professional drift and stunt rider, he holds the Land Cruiser LC 100 on two wheels at full commitment, coaches the drift syllabus in the 2008 BMW 5 Series, and heads the safety brief for every session run at Emirates Motorplex, Umm Al Quwain.

THE STORY
Raw, but
run properly.
What started as weekend practice on private ground became a full programme: drift tuition, stunt shows for brands and organisers, and camera work for production houses. The energy stayed. The paperwork caught up.
All driving, drifting and stunt activity takes place exclusively on closed, designated motorsport circuits and approved event grounds under professional supervision. SideWheelPro does not condone or facilitate street racing.

THE DRIVER
Balance is
the trick.
Getting the Toyota Land Cruiser LC 100 onto two wheels is the easy part. Holding it there, steering it, and setting it back down clean is a decade of practice. Saeed has run this at shows across the Emirates and it is still the thing crowds come for. The drift programme uses a separate car — our 2008 BMW 5 Series.
Before you ride
- Minimum age 16, or 12+ accompanied by a guardian who signs the indemnity.
- Harness and helmet fit is checked in the paddock — no exceptions, no loose items.
- No neck, back, cardiac conditions, and not pregnant.
- The ride is filmed by our crew; personal cameras stay outside the vehicle.
- Runs take place at Emirates Motorplex, Umm Al Quwain, UAE with marshals and medical cover present.

A 2008 BMW 5 Series — rear-wheel drive, caged, hydro-handbrake, sacrificial rears — on the closed circuit at Emirates Motorplex, Umm Al Quwain. This is the only programme where you can take the wheel yourself: drive it under instruction, or ride it out from the passenger seat.
OPTION 01 — DRIVE
You drive.
Skid pad first, circuit second, in our 2008 BMW 5 Series. An instructor sits alongside you or runs comms from the pit wall, and you build from a held slide to linked transitions across the session. Drive-yourself is available on the drift programme only — the SideWheelie is passenger-only.
Mandatory driver requirements
- Valid, in-date driving licence (UAE or international) — physical or digital, checked on arrival.
- Minimum age 21. Under 25 requires a minimum of two years' licensed driving history.
- Zero alcohol or impairing medication. Random breath testing is applied at the venue.
- Closed footwear, long trousers. Helmets and HANS-compatible restraints are supplied.
- Health declaration signed: no cardiac, spinal, neck or pregnancy contraindications.
- Mandatory 45-minute safety briefing and sighting laps before any timed running.
Track rules — non-negotiable
- The Emirates Motorplex circuit is one-way. Direction changes only on marshal instruction.
- Radio comms with your instructor stay open at all times. Red flag means stop on the spot.
- No overtaking, no convoy running, no filming while driving. Media is captured by our crew.
- Session ends immediately on any contact, spin off-surface, or breach of the driving line.
- Vehicle damage excess applies and is explained in full before you sign.
OPTION 02 — RIDE
Pro drives.
You hold on.
No licence, no experience, no problem. Harnessed into the passenger seat of the same 2008 BMW 5 Series, with a professional drift driver running it at full commitment.

Drift FAQ
Is this legal?
Yes. Every session runs at Emirates Motorplex, Umm Al Quwain, UAE — a licensed, closed motorsport venue — under a safety plan with marshals, fire cover and medical cover on site. Nothing we do takes place on public roads.
I have never drifted before. Can I still drive?
Yes. The taster session is built for first-timers — skid pad, low speed, instructor on comms the whole way. You will not be put on circuit until you can hold a basic slide.
Can I bring my own car?
Not for the drift experience. Our 2008 BMW 5 Series is prepped with a cage, harnesses, a hydraulic handbrake and consumable rear tyres. Own-car track days are handled separately — ask the booking desk.
What happens if the weather turns?
Sessions run wet or dry — wet is often better for learning. Sandstorms or lightning force a reschedule and your slot moves at no cost.

A stunt show is the only part of an event people film themselves. This is what we do on the day: we script it, permit it, and run it to the venue's safety plan with our own crew, cars and cover.
